At The End
Many many years from now
when the last breadth of life has departed from me,
and I stand before His judgement throne,
to give account of my sojourn in life,
to tell what I did with my coat of many colours.
I will acknowledge His mercy,
for through it that I conquered the world
that I brought succour to the face of billions
and wiped away the tears of another billion people
How I loved the unlovables,
Clothed the naked, fed the hungry and sheltered the homeless,
helped Africa pay off her debts, gave her wealth
built schools and hospitals for her children
and met all her needs, how in my days Africa shone like the sun.
How I met many atheists,
could not compete with their ignorance,
so I left them to their folly,
with lots of love as Christ commanded.
With no one believing in me,
except for an invisible companion
who calls Himself Jehovah
How I conquered the world,
built a business empire that spanned the globe,
employing hundreds of millions and having billions of clients,
owing government bonds and gifting trillions to nations
how I lived like a king and ruled over many others.
How at the peak of it all,
I gave all glory to the father
made my peace with my maker
and at home to rest.
